Grill and Light Accent Kit for the VS4-10 Origin Classic/Pro
Kit includes:
Grill Insert
Pair of Headlight Bezels
Pair of 2-piece Taillight Bezels
Available in 1.0mm Aluminum or 1.0mm Copper
Copper is considerably heavier and more expensive than aluminum
This product will also fit OG Pro/Ultra/Origin half cab or full cab bodies with body post holes
Installation instructions:
-Remove plastic grill and headlights from the lexan body
-With flush cuts, clip out the center of the plastic grill. Leave a small stub, 2-3mm, at each cut. The grill insert will be glued in place using these remaining stubs.
-Place grill insert into the plastic grill and glue in place using E600 or similar. Use care to avoid getting any excess glue on the outside where it will be visible. Excess glue can be removed fairly easily after it has dried. Use masking tape to secure the grill insert flat to the plastic grill while the glue dries. Recommend letting it sit overnight before removing the masking tape. Use care not to bend the grill insert during handling and installation.
-To install the headlight bezels, place the bezel on the outside of the body and secure using the stock hardware or scale hardware, if desired. It may be slightly difficult to align the bezel with the holes in the body and the headlight bucket. It is easier if you install the headlight hardware first, then attach the M3 SHSC to secure the grill support and grill to the body
-Taillight bezels install using the stock hardware or scale hardware, if desired. The 2-piece design allows for multiple configurations. They can be used with or without the stock plastic taillight bezel, depending on your application. As with the headlights, it is easier to install the taillight hardware first, then attach the M3 SHCS to secure the tailgate to the body.
